In class, we learned about how clans are used to identify family ancestry and heritage, so, I named my clan, Toddokia, after my dad whose name is Todd. My Mon's design consists of two symbols: the Japanese Imperial Kamon and the eyes motif Janome Shichiyo. Since the Imperial Kamon's signature color is yellow, I wanted to highlight that in my design. I also decided to include the the eyes motif Janome Shichiyo in my design as it used to protect and scare off the evil.
