About the Beneficiary

We need your support to turn the tide against endless war. We know the stakes of our organizing couldn?t be higher. Climate change is already here, and budgets for policing and militarism continues to expand at the expense of Black and Brown communities.

Dissenters is a movement organization building local teams of young people across the country to force institutions to divest from war and militarism, and reinvest in what our communities actually need. From campuses to congress, we are building grassroots power to cut off war elites once and for all.

This year, we've trained over 2,000 young people on the fundamentals of anti-militarist and anti-imperialist organizing to launch long-term strategic campaigns across the country to get #CopsOffCampus, #RecruitersOffCampus, and to #DivestFromDeath.

We?ve been blown away by the dedication, rigor and vision of Dissenters member leaders. We are amazed at the ways we have already seen our youth members grow and build this movement since we launched in January 2020. Our movement is growing, and we need your help to keep turning the tides against endless war in 2024!

About the Artist

Molly Costello is a non-binary queer illustrator, food grower, honey bee tender and a seeker of mysticism. Through their creative work they explore themes of interconnectedness, cosmology, reciprocity, biomimicry and are interested in cultivating our radical imaginations to help us shape our emergent new world.
