The Center on Main is a nonprofit community center located in downtown Taunton, MA (est. 2022) dedicated to creating a gathering place where people unite around shared interests, build community, connect needs with resources, and experience love and transformation.
We are just a regular bunch of people who started a non-profit and have been spending all our spare time over the past 2+ years to dream up, design, renovate and refurbish this space for YOU! As the end of 2025 approaches, we are so excited to approach ONE YEAR of being open and celebrate this space becoming a hub for gathering, playing, working, helping, and connecting.
With every item sold in our merch shop, funding increases for The Center to be able to complete the work-in-progress rooms in our space.
Updates in 2026 at The Center on Main with your help:
- fully finished rooms to rent for events, workspaces, conferences & more
- youth center for the teens in the community
- makers market selling local handmade arts & goods
- ready space to rent for performances, open mics, and anything else you dream up
continued upgrades and dreams becoming reality - we want to create a space that you want to use!
