Shepherd was born on February 4th with Tracheal Agenesis. An extremely rare birth defect with fewer than 200 documented cases in the medical literature worldwide. He's stayed strong through 7 surgical repairs and keeps fighting every day. We are beyond grateful for the love and support from friends, family, and most importantly, his care team at the hospital. We look forward to the day we can take our little boy home. ?

Shepherd has received the final stage of his airway reconstruction where surgeons created individual tracheal rings made from his rib cartilidge and 9 titanium splints.
