A company has bought hundreds of acres of farmland on the north side of Greensburg with the goal of building an AI Data Center.
Data centers in Indiana are consuming almost 50% of electricity and its recently been noted that the electrical grid is not sufficient enough to provide what these centers need, resulting in the potential use of jet engines to power them.
In addition, data centers use large amounts of water, ranging from hundreds of thousands to millions of gallons daily. If you research, there are numerous residents who have lost their water supply to their home or their water supply has been polluted with substances from the data center.
In addition, data centers also affect public health with respiratory and cardiovascular risks.
Please join us in raising awareness and supporting the Coalition to Protect Decatur County Against AI Data Center!
