Hi! My name is Christina, and I like to create things with purpose and mindfulness. Whether for the gym, train, work, travel, to lounging, I hope these designs can be a source of encouragement to embrace your imperfections as something that is resilient and beautiful... a life well deserved of celebration!! My heart is hopeful that you can find joy in the small things in daily life, regardless of whatever challenge you are facing.

This February (Heart Month), I started this campaign to raise awareness about congenital heart defects (CHD) and the complicated, complex, heart-related world! It can be emotionally draining and physically stressful to live with an "abnormal" heart or to caretake/know of any loved ones living with it. It has always been my dream to create this collection and to provide a space for CHD'ers to feel seen while also raising awareness about heart complexities hence the inspiration for ALL VESS.

Also, I'm excited to share that 25% of all proceeds will be donated to Boston Children's Hospital Cardiac Fitness Program whose goal is to provide personalized, safe fitness training for children and adolescence navigating heart-related challenges.

Whether you are 1 in 100 or 1 in 10,000, join me in embracing who you are rather than letting it define what you are.

***ABOUT THE SHIRT DESIGN***

FRONT: I designed the heart to have a realistic anatomical structure based on my interest in the medical field.

Within the heart itself, the geometric and abstract design are based on the Japanese art of piecing together broken pottery, kintsugi. I became inspired by the idea that cracks can be repaired with gold. Instead of hiding the damage, it BECOMES something beautiful. I think of it as a metaphor for uplifting the heart and embracing imperfection, which can only start from within.

Around the heart are evergreen leaves based on eucalyptus. This is inspired by my love for eucalyptus aromatherapy, where my mind feels grounded. I am also inspired by the endurance of evergreens as they symbolize resilience and renewal year-round. There are also flowers intermingled to represent the process of blooming.

The words "Joy grows here" are my life motto, simply grounding me. It serves as a reminder that you can find joy during the journey of growth. It is never a mere destination.

BACK: The words "This heart blooms. These beats strong." or "You are remarkable. A radiant champ. " are positive affirmations that can help one to stay grounded in the present. They are also designed to be read by any passer-goer as messages on the back.
