Hi, we?re Jalen and Destini!

We?ve been married for eight wonderful years, but our story started long before that. We met at UMHB, both playing basketball, and quickly discovered not only a love for the game but also a love for each other. From teammates on the court to partners in life, God has blessed us with a marriage rooted in faith, love, and the shared passion of coaching and mentoring young people.

As much as we have poured into the lives of others, one of our deepest desires has been to become parents ourselves. We know that God?s plans are perfect, even when the journey looks different than we imagined. For us, that has meant walking the path of infertility. Over the years, we have prayed, hoped, and trusted, taking on the emotional, physical, and financial challenges of fertility treatments. To date, we have spent over $50,000 pursuing our dream of holding a child in our arms.

Recently, we moved to Houston and found one of the best fertility doctors to walk alongside us in this journey. For the first time, we feel so close to our dreams coming true. This road has not been easy, but it has strengthened our faith and our marriage. We believe God has called us to keep moving forward with hope, even when the cost feels overwhelming.
