This design began as an original hand-painted artwork on fabric created during my journey to becoming a U.S. citizen. Inspired by the powerful symbolism of the Statue of Liberty, the torch represents freedom, hope, and the enduring friendship between France and the United States.

As a French-American artist, I wanted to celebrate the upcoming 250th anniversary of the United States (USA 250) by transforming that original artwork into wearable art that carries meaning and history.

The illustration combines watercolor textures and sketch-style lines, capturing the warmth of the flame and the timeless spirit of liberty. Each piece reflects a personal story about identity, belonging, and the shared values that unite people across cultures.
