Hi! My name is Ranielle and I'm Calamity's mom. It's no secret that adopting Calamity in 2013 changed the course of my life. In 2019 I left a 20-year career in the entertainment industry to explore a life working with dogs. And I'm never looking back--only forward!

I started 2022 with a professional development mission to expand my knowledge base with formal education in dog training and dog behavior. I became PetTech CPR & First Aid Certified, became an AKC Canine Good Citizen Evaluator as well as an AKC Fit Dog Level 1 instructor, and in my biggest leaps of achievement I was accepted to the Karen Pryor Academy's Dog Trainer Professional program and became a KPA CTP (Certified Training Partner).

In 2023 I formed Paws & Pawsibility LLC and became a Fear Free Certified Trainer. I am committed to positive reinforcement and force/fear-free training techniques. Clicker training opens up a clear line of communication between human and dog, and better communication leads to better understanding. It?s my hope to help pet owners and their pets live their best possible lives together.

Funds raised from this store will go towards continuing education opportunities as well as towards donations to the many animal shelters and organizations we've supported over the years (Humane Society for SW Washington, West Columbia Gorge Humane Society, Home At Last Humane Society, DoveLewis, Cat Adoption Team).

Calamity has taught me so much about making a difference in the lives of pets and their people and I'd like to continue that work professionally!
