We are a club team at Arizona State University actively competing in the IHSA, Intercollegiate Horse Show Association. The mission of the team is to create a fun, encouraging, and competitive atmosphere for both new and experienced riders to further develop their equestrian skills while pursuing their studies. Our program offers riders several different levels of opportunities so they can tailor their equine competition based on their level of time, finances, and experience. IHSA provides all levels of competition from Walk-Trot (beginner) to the Open Over Fences Division (advanced). This allows riders of all levels the opportunity to compete while pursuing their academic careers. During our 2021-2022 show season, our team was very competitive in Zone 8 Region 2, and sent two riders to represent ASU at the IHSA Zone Championship Horse Show. During this upcoming, two-semester season there are ten shows, many of which are out of state. It is the team?s responsibility to provide for: traveling expenses, show expenses, lesson fees, growing the equestrian community, helping new equestrians, and supporting our riding facility.
