Hello! My beautiful mom, Nikki, has been diagnosed with breast cancer. This shock has led our family into a whole new world of doctors and trying to figure out what happens next. Nikki has faced more then some do in a lifetime and yet she is always there for those around her and will do whatever she can for the ones she cares about. This usually means using humor to get through any situation, especially when it seems to be an inappropriate time to laugh. lol!

Now, Nikki is facing a new fight. She has maintained a positive outlook and has been taking each new hurdle one day at a time. This diagnosis has already meant numerous trips to different doctors with treatment surgeries in the near future. As of now, we were told to expect at least a year of follow-ups and other procedures as her journey continues.

We will continue to say Hakuna Matata, which means 'No Worries!' as we take this one day at a time and rely on our Heavenly Father.
