In the town of Singalong Swamp, librarian and musician Ms. Dottie runs the Lilypad Library. Lilypad Library is a fun place where all of the townsfolk can gather, grow, and learn. Specifically, the show follows Dots the Frog and Lotsa the Axolotl in their summer before Kindergarten. The show introduces topics of Kindergarten readiness such as sharing, independence (dressing oneself, packing a backpack), listening skills, storytelling, and more. It also follows the characters on a number of silly and imaginative stories. Dots is on the Autism spectrum, and she is learning how to live life to her fullest, and rise to the challenges she faces.
