NextGen ALS was started in 2021 by the Weber family who carries a genetic strain of ALS, which can be passed on to every ?next generation?. Since then, the organization has grown to include other families who are equally invested in the cause. 


Genetic ALS has no known cure, and for each person with Genetic ALS there is a 50/50 chance that each of their children could be diagnosed with the same disease.


At NextGen ALS, we believe in focused, directed, results driven research, with the goal of medical advancement and treatment options for people with genetic ALS.
