As I prepare to pedal over 500 miles across New York in the Empire State Ride, I?m carrying the names of loved ones who fought bravely, the hope of those currently in the thick of the battle, and a deep-seated belief that we can?and will?find a cure.

I am riding for Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center because "someday" isn't soon enough. We?ve all felt the weight of a diagnosis, whether it was our own or someone we love. This ride is my way of turning that weight into momentum.
