Silver Thread is a winemaker-owned, boutique winery and vineyard in Lodi, NY, on the east side of Seneca Lake. We practice regenerative farming and focus on Riesling, the region's signature grape. Our co-owners - Shannon and Paul Brock - are also wine educators, and their popular series "Riesling Expert" has a bit of a cult following.

Silver Thread has ten acres of active vineyard, on which we grow ten varietals: seven vitis vinifera and three locally-adapted hybrids. Our grapes are managed biointensively, and our hybrids - in the Good Earth Block - are grown 100% organically.

A micro-business (just four full-time employees), Shannon and Paul aren't just owners; they're here every day. Paul is the Head Winemaker/Vineyard Manager and Shannon is the Estate Manager. Our tasting room is an open, airy, former restaurant about a mile from the vineyard, with a beautiful view of Seneca Lake.
