Tupos of Hope: Johnny?s Light is the faith-driven nonprofit I created to honor Johnny, the man who saved my life. On October 31, 2025, his gift of organ donation gave me a second chance, and that moment became the foundation of my calling.

My journey to this point was shaped by a long battle with addiction that eventually led to end-stage liver failure. My lowest moment came when I was rushed into emergency surgery, and it was there that I surrendered to God and asked Him to take over my life. Sobriety brought clarity, healing, and a purpose I never expected. God lifted me out of a place of fear and brokenness and set my feet on a new path filled with grace and identity.

The word Tupos means example, imprint, or mark, and it reflects the life I now strive to live. My mission is to leave a mark of hope on people facing addiction, homelessness, and crisis. I walk beside others the same way people once walked beside me, offering compassion, practical help, and faith-filled encouragement. I want others to know that change is real and that no life is too far gone.

Everything I now do carries Johnny?s light forward. His gift continues through every person I can serve and every story of hope that grows from this mission.
