TRANScend Choral & Community Music Foundation is dedicated to uplifting trans singers and creating choral spaces dedicated to trans joy. Our mission to increase trans visibility and equity in the performing arts includes our NYC-based choirs, as well as supporting trans academic work, publishing original research on trans inclusion in music education, and commissioning new music from trans & GNC composers.

The TRANScend Community Chorale provides a welcoming space centering transgender & gender-nonconforming singers, and the TRANScend Ambassadors help make trans voices accessible to a wider audience. Our choirs have performed at The Cathedral of St John the Divine, The Longhouse Reserve, and the Spring Hill Arts Gathering.
Every t-shirt helps us provide funding for our singers, and spreads the word about our mission and the beauty of trans voices - because everybody deserves to sing!
