A rich tradition of caring
For nearly 130 years, The Virginia Home has been a place of comfort and security for Virginians with irreversible physical disabilities. Our private, nonprofit 130-bed facility provides nursing, therapeutic and residential care so that our residents can live full, meaningful lives regardless of the challenges they face. The Virginia Home remains the only facility of its kind in the Commonwealth ? a unique model of compassionate care and a modern, thriving facility whose staff seeks to improve the physical, emotional, and social lives of our residents.
100% of the profits from our ?Love Lives at The Virginia Home? campaign, will benefit The Virginia Home Resident Council. The Council consists of 12 resident elected members who provide a voice for all of our residents. They are dedicated to enhancing the overall quality of life residents experience at The Virginia Home. All proceeds will be directly managed by Resident Council for various activities and community events, socials, and any pertinent need-based expenses that directly affect resident care and improve overall quality of life. (ie. accessible vehicles, equipment, annual fundraising event, etc.)
