Mario's Paw takes in mostly cats (and some dogs) of all sizes, ages, and medical conditions. One of the most common demographics we care for are kittens; some are neonatal kittens, or "bottle babies" who were orphaned and need round-the-clock care. In addition to this, they can't regulate their temperature and rely on humans to keep them warm. This can be done but not well with heating pads but what rescues who handle multiple litters of bottle babies a season truly need is an incubator.

The little kitten you see on this shirt was Starr. Starr was found incredibly small, and alone. We tried our best to help her thrive but her tiny body couldn't do it. She could have benefited from being in a perfectly controlled environment of an incubator.

She's not the only one in the past who could have, or in the future that will and we'd love your help in purchasing an Aeulus IC 1803 Incubator which is the type recommended to us by our emergency vet.

It costs: $1799.99 which is our goal for this fundraiser, though any amount will help us get closer to getting one.

We know even though her loss saddened us greatly that she'd want us to "think paw-sitive" so that's what we're going to do!
