My husband Rob needs a kidney transplant, and is receiving one of his oldest brother's kidneys on December 16th, 2025 (we are eternally grateful to you, David!). Rob is in renal failure due to an autoimmune disease called IGA nephropathy. He's receiving excellent care in Portland, OR. For this fundraiser, we are raising money for Every Cure, which is a brilliant organization raising money for "saving and improving lives by repurposing drugs". Essentially, this organization is researching off-label uses for readily available medications. This is pertinent for Rob's situation, as IGAN, and many other auto-immune diseases, have no cure.
