About this campaign
The Girls Rock Camp Alliance (GRCA) is an international membership network of youth-centered arts and social justice organizations. We provide resources and space for community building to our membership in order to build a strong movement for collective liberation.
Every year, the GRCA hosts an international conference for organizers from around the world. Because the conference is in the United States, it can be difficult for non-U.S. organizers to attend the conference due to financial barriers and travel restrictions. In 2017, the GRCA board began providing travel stipends to camps who had never attended conference due to financial barriers. This year, we are also retaining the services of an immigration lawyer to provide assistance to international travellers with entering the US.
We want to continue providing travel support to international attendees and we need your help! All funds raised from our "TOGETHER WE ARE" bonfire campaign will go towards travel stipends 2019 GRCA conference!
