The Trans Legal Aid Clinic of Texas holds two free legal aid clinics every other month to help trans and nonbinary Texans successfully navigate the legal process of getting their true names and genders recognized on their identification and other official documents. We help hundreds of people each year to live the lives they deserve. 

Since the beginning of the pandemic, we've switched from in-person clinics in Houston to Zoom clinics, expanding our reach to help more folks than ever before, all across the state. Since 2015, the Trans Legal Aid Clinic of Texas been a small, all-volunteer organization with very few operating costs, but we want to be able to do more. The need is surely out there. With more resources, we could help more people access these life-saving services.
