Founded in 1993 by Riki Wilchins and Denise Norris, The Transexual Menace is a trans rights group that has mobilized to protest the exclusion of trans people from Pride parades and community events, executed actions outside courthouses, and ran historic trans spaces like Camp Trans and Son of Camp Trans.

Most recently in 2025, The Menace has come alive again in response to anti-trans executive orders in the US, resulting in the active erasure of trans people from public space and documented history, as well as the discrimination and dehumanization of trans people at large.

This design is based on the original Transexual Menace t-shirts. Many like it are available online, but currently there are no known sources for it made by, sold, and shipped by trans screen printers. This listing is a stand-in until a non-corporate solution can be found or established. The intention is to get this shirt in as many hands as possible, to make our presence as trans people as visible as possible, and to make it as inexpensive as possible.

I could not possibly justify making money off of these shirts, so I've lowered the price of each style to the point where I make $0 profit. It's my opinion that nobody should be making profits on these shirts unless those profits are used to directly fund Menace chapters.
