Our Patients are Wild

When a gorilla is sick or injured we make "forest calls" - treating the gorilla in its natural habitat and never removing an individual from the forest for treatment. We release gorillas from snares, perform physical exams and surgeries, and administer life-saving medication - always while surrounded by our patients' gorilla family.
