Triploidy is a chromosomal abnormality affecting 1-3% of pregnancies. It is a very life-limiting condition for babies and many do not survive beyond 12 weeks of pregnancy. However, some are born alive when given the chance, and can have a brief life with their family. The condition can be dangerous for mama too and this fundraiser also applauds all those brave women who've endured a triploidy pregnancy of any length. These shirts are to help bring awareness of the condition and promote the worthiness of these babies and acknowledge their life, however brief it may be.

The cost was kept low, as the main reason is to spread awareness via the shirts. Each item raises about $1 in funds and they will be given to a local organization which supports families who have had miscarriage, stillbirth or infant death.
