All proceeds benefit the residents and rescues at the Promised Land Dachshund Sanctuary -- a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that specializes in the rescue, rehabilitation, long-term care, and sometimes adoption of special needs and senior Dachshunds. The Sanctuary is located in rural west Texas, with a 2000 square foot facility that houses our long-term senior and special needs residents. Our residents come from all over the continental US. Employees and volunteers provide care seven days a week, 52 weeks a year. The Sanctuary is typically home to between 50 and 60 special needs pups who are split between several different rooms. Each resident is provided with high quality bedding, top-of-the-line food and treats, up-to-date veterinary care, companions and play areas, and unconditional love.
