Fathers or partners aren't allowed to be in the birth space at the public hospital, in the private hospital, they can join once the mother starts pushing.

The midwives provide community education like childbirth, breastfeeding, and reproductive health. They help empower families to help advocate for themselves in the hospital setting. Or set them up for a home birth (most families can't afford it so Uma Shungo rely on funding to cover the cost).
