Osteogenesis imperfecta (OI) is a rare and complex genetic disorder of the collagen that is often characterized by fragile bones. Other symptoms include brittle teeth, spine curves, hearing loss, respiratory problems, cardiac issues, and muscle weakness. OI is highly variable - ranging from a mild form with few fractures to a form that is lethal at birth.

There is no cure for OI, but thanks to money raised from t-shirt sales, we can fund research that will lead to better understanding the nuances of this rare condition with the goal of improving quality of life, increasing longevity, and understanding how to better manage symptoms in children and adults.
