Our little boy August was diagnosed with Autism last September and this will be the first time we are celebrating a month full of education about and continued advocacy for Autism acceptance in our community. In even the hardest moments of this journey, the joy and beauty of August has taught us all a thing or two about how big the world inside of our brains can be. I love the idea of him one day noticing the people around him wearing his shirt and knowing he is safe and loved.
