About this campaign
The overuse of Crepe Myrtles in landscaping represent a large degree of whats wrong with contemporary American Horticulture, lowering the bar so that the only metric that's used to select plants is whether they are found subjectively "pretty" or not. Crepe Myrtles may be important where they are native in SE Asia, but in North America they are a barren wasteland for wildlife and only reinforce the idea that plants are only worth planting if they produce attractive flowers or not.
