At the Pacific Autism Center for Education (PACE), a 501c3 non-profit based in the Bay Area, our mission is to enhance the lives of people impacted by autism through innovation, exceptional education, and compassionate care. Our vision is a world in which people of all abilities live fulfilled lives.

PACE was founded in 1989 by parents, community members, and educators as a private 501(c)3 non-profit to meet the critical need for high-quality programs for children and adults with autism. Celebrating 35 years in December 2024, PACE proudly provides services for individuals aged 3 to 60 in the Bay Area.

Our comprehensive services include Sunny Days Preschool, an inclusive preschool for children ages 3-6, the PACE School serving ages 6-22, PACE Residential group homes, Faces Behavioral Services with 1:1 Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), and Porchlight Autism Education Series, a free e-learning training system with over 50 modules for parent and caregiver solutions to implement at home.
