All net proceeds raised from this purchase will support the Oktibbeha County Humane Society, a nonprofit humane society in Starkville, Mississippi that works to serve the pets of north central Mississippi and the people that care for them.
OCHS manages the:
- Starkville Animal Shelter which cares for 2,000+ homeless pets each year
- OCHS Express which relocates 3,000+ pets from more than a dozen overcrowded animal shelters in Mississippi to shelters with an abundance of adopters and resources to care for them
- OCHS Snip & Spay low-cost spay/neuter program which provides 2,400+ spay or neuter surgeries to pets owned by community members who could otherwise not afford the surgery
Your purchase and donations support these efforts which yielded a 96% lifesaving percentage last year (national average is 76.6%; state of Mississippi average is 67.4%).
