On October 12, 2018, we almost lost our three year old daughter, Arzola. A ten day, slow drip hemorrhage after a T&A surgery lead to an emergency surgery, time in the PICU, many days in the hospital, lots of bloodwork, testing and monitoring that lead to a diagnosis of Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome.
We are learning about this disorder and feel the need to raise awareness. We invite you to be a supporting part of our village as we help our tiny zebra, and other zebra families navigate this journey.
