Fueling a New Chapter: Help Me Get Back on the Racecourse

For as long as I can remember, movement has been a huge part of my life. Whether it was long-distance bicycling, playing sports, or pushing through physical challenges, I?ve always believed in keeping active and pushing forward.

Life changed dramatically when I became an amputee. Adjusting to a new normal is a journey filled with hurdles, but one thing hasn't changed: my drive to compete, stay active, and challenge myself.

Now, I have my sights set on the starting line of local races and outdoor events. But I?ve hit a practical roadblock. Right now, I rely on my everyday wheelchair. While it gets me where I need to go day-to-day, it?s built for daily life?not for speed, endurance, or distance racing. Trying to race in an everyday chair is like trying to run a marathon in heavy work boots; it?s mechanically inefficient, uncomfortable over long distances, and simply not built for the job.

To compete safely and properly, I need a specialized racing wheelchair.

These high-performance chairs are lightweight, aerodynamically designed, and built specifically for speed and endurance. Unfortunately, they come with a significant price tag, which is why I am turning to my community, friends, and supporters for help.
