We are one of the oldest active rescues in Maryland and want to celebrate that huge accomplishment.
Our mission is to help the underdogs, the dogs discriminated against because of breed, medical or behavioral concerns.
The pup featured on this design, Marvin, is the first pittie we pulled from PG county a few years ago. PG county has breed specific legislation (BSL) which means any dog that looks like at least 50% pit cannot be adopted out to the public. For these dogs the only chance to make it out of the shelter alive is if a rescue steps up to save them. We have pulled hundreds of amazing pitties over the years from all over Maryland and we hope that our supporters educate people about what wonderful loving and loyal dogs they are.
