Celebrate the 30th Annual Run for the Refuge with this year?s official race shirt! This year?s logo was chosen by Northern Alaska Environmental Center members, making it a true community-supported design for a community-powered event.

Run for the Refuge supports the Northern Alaska Environmental Center?s work to protect the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge and defend Interior and Arctic Alaska through grassroots organizing, advocacy, education, public process, and litigation when necessary.

This year?s theme, ?Drilling is not the ANsWeR,? reminds us that industrial extraction is not the solution for Alaska?s future. The answer is protecting the lands, waters, wildlife, and communities that sustain life.

Proceeds from this campaign help support NAEC?s Arctic Refuge work, including opposing oil and gas leasing and seismic exploration, uplifting Indigenous-led protection efforts, and organizing public pressure for lasting protections.
