Medical case after medical case has come through our doors, and even though we're bursting at the seams, when our shelter partners called about "Graham"... there was no way we were saying no.

Meet Graham. A 10-year-old frosted-faced French Bulldog who should be spending his golden years spoiled rotten on a couch?not lying alone, too defeated to even lift his head.

Somewhere along the way, Graham was hit by a car, leaving him with painful road rash, multiple wounds, and a leg broken in two places. For any dog that's traumatic. For a senior with advanced arthritis, hard of hearing, confused and all alone - it's devastating.

? No family came. No one looked for him. No one claimed him.

???? So we did. 

Because of his age, severe arthritis, poor bone density, and the fact that he's also heartworm positive, surgery just isn't an option. 

Instead, Graham is beginning a long road of weekly cast changes, X-ray monitoring, pain management, and heartworm treatment?all with one goal: giving this incredible old soul the comfortable, happy life he has always deserved.

We don't know how Graham's story brought him here.

What we do know is this: It will never be like that again.
