June 2019-- In 15 years when we are looking back on these moments, we want Nyla to know how much love & support she had from the very first day. We hope to do this by filling a scrapbook with everyone wearing their shirt in support of our warrior princess!

Baby Nyla was diagnosed with the Congenital Heart Defect known as Tetralogy of Fallot during pregnancy. It was expected that she would need open heart surgery when she was 3 to 6 months old, but she has shown us that she is the lady in charge and things happen on her time.

Nyla was born prematurely, spent 6 days in the NICU & we were home for approximately 2 weeks. After having scary episodes of oxygen saturation level drops at home & in the CVICU, she had open heart surgery to repair her tiny heart at 3 weeks old. Nyla has proven to us that although she is tiny, she is so mighty and an absolute fighter!
