Limited edition ? available through July 1, 2026 only.
In spring 2026, artist Yuke Li transformed our Lower Deck into a celebration of everything that makes Josiah Quincy special ? a soaring dragon, blooming flowers, the Chinatown gate, and the bright, smiling faces of the kids who fill our school every day. You really can't help but smile when you see it.
The mural is part of A Canvas of Culture, the City of Boston's multi-year initiative bringing original public art to Boston Public Schools, led by the Mayor's Office of Arts & Culture in partnership with Street Theory. It's a piece of Josiah Quincy, and a piece of a citywide celebration of the cultures and communities that make Boston shine.
Two details from the mural live on this limited-edition tee ? the joyful celebration scene on the front, and our F.I.R.E. values graphic on the back: Focus, Integrity, Respect, and Empathy. Available in adult and youth sizes and printed in full color on a soft, natural cotton blend, it's made to be worn and loved ? perfect for spirit days, weekends, and showing JQES pride at every age.
We offer this tee at cost. Out of respect for Yuke Li and the public nature of this artwork, the School Community Council doesn't make any profit on this item ? we simply wanted families to be able to take a piece of our mural home. Wear it proud.
