Over a year ago, Shelly and another dog were confiscated from a home and brought to the shelter. Shelly was sick and needed medical care, but because she was a senior, she wasn?t given the chance to overcome her condition. Instead of receiving the care she needed, it was decided that she would be euthanized.

She was given just two weeks to make it out alive.

True & Faithful Pet Rescue Mission stepped in and saved her. We gave Shelly the medical care and chance that no one believed she deserved.

But her journey wasn?t over. Even after being saved, Shelly waited nearly three months with no interest from potential adopters. Then, one of our volunteers fell in love with her and gave her the forever home she had been waiting for.

Today, Shelly is thriving. She spends her days spoiled, cherished, and making videos alongside her dog sisters. She?s sassy, has the cutest wonky toes, and is truly one of a kind.

If True & Faithful Pet Rescue Mission hadn?t stepped in, Shelly would not be here today. She would have been overlooked simply because she was considered too old to save and too old to love.

This fundraiser is in honor of Shelly and every senior dog who deserves a chance, no matter their age. All proceeds will help us save more dogs like Shelly.
