This special anniversary design is the first in our artist series and not only outlines the Five Freedoms of Animal Welfare our business name was inspired by, but also features some familiar four legged faces on the design (including our heavenly, Sox).
All proceeds from this design go to support our non-sponsored shelter and foster photo days to help homeless dogs across North Carolina be seen and valued through the medium of beautiful photography.
MEET THE ARTIST
This incredible one-of-a-kind design was created by my friend, Meredith Canty of Meredith Canty Art. Meredith is a talented illustrator and painter, lifelong animal advocate, and proud pet parent to her two gorgeous rescue dogs, Winifred and Louie.
Beyond her artwork, Meredith volunteers alongside me at the Wake County Animal Center and serves on the board of the newly formed Paws & People Initiative, a non-profit dedicated to keeping animals out of shelters through education and community support.
For more of Meredith's design work or to purchase her art, please visit her website or follow her on Instagram.
For this first artist feature, I couldn't imagine a more meaningful collaboration. Meredith's passion for animals shines through both her art, her work, and her own pups, and I'm so grateful she helped bring this special anniversary design to life.
We hope you love it and are proud to wear it! Hope to see you and your pup(s) soon!
