Arizona Shih Tzu and Small Breed Rescue is a 100% volunteer-run 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation, and rehoming of Shih Tzus and small breed dogs across Arizona. We have no paid staff, just a passionate team of volunteers who show up every single day for the dogs who need us most.

Right now, we are facing one of our most challenging seasons yet. We are taking in dogs with serious medical needs that require diagnostics, treatment, and extended care before they are ready for adoption. On top of that, we have been receiving a heartbreaking number of severely matted strays, dogs whose coats have been neglected to the point of causing real physical harm. And families in our community are reaching out, struggling to afford veterinary care for pets they love and desperately want to keep.

The last thing we ever want to do is turn a dog away. But caring for every dog that comes to us, medically, emotionally, and physically, takes resources we are currently stretched thin on.

That's why we created this shirt. Proceeds of every purchase go directly toward the dogs in our care, including vet bills, food, fosters, and the community support that keeps families and their pets together. When you wear this shirt, you are telling the world these dogs matter. And they do.
