About the Artist ? The 2026 Artsfest logo was designed by MC Carey, a Baltimore-based printmaker and illustrator behind the printmaking studio, Femme Prints. A self-taught artist dedicated to creating works that touch the hearts of their community and collectors alike, MC's hand-carved linoleum block prints merge texture and healing through an exclusively analog process of making. They believe in the power of visual storytelling to bring people together, ground communities in rituals of healing, and imagine and reimage a collectively interdependent world.
