Our son Ashtyn has non-verbal level 3 Autism. At the end of March, he was diagnosed with Aplastic Anemia, which is a failure of the bone marrow. In mid June, he will be receiving a bone marrow transplant. A donor was found last week. (Mid May) This has all happened very quickly. He will have to undergo chemotherapy, he will have to take cyclosporine, as well as many intense meds, all in the two weeks prior to the transplant.
