On August 23, 2017, I lost a baby boy at sixteen weeks gestation. Each year on this date I like to celebrate his life by creating a t-shirt with a verse or phrase that has encouraged my heart through my loss. I then take the money raised and donate it to a worthy cause in honor of my little boy. In the past years, I have donated to our own adoption, an orphanage in China, a friend with breast cancer, and a women's center.

This year all funds raised will go to an organization who is beautifully living out James 1:27, "Pure and genuine religion in the sight of God the Father means caring for orphans and widows in their distress and refusing to let the world corrupt you."
