It's hard to believe that it's been one year since Buddy has been gone from our lives. Buddy was truly the strongest, most resilient, sweet, and empathetic young boy who we were proud to call our son.

He had bravely battled osteosarcoma since he was just 5 years old, which, by the age of 11, meant he had been fighting for his survival for more than half his lifetime. Buddy passed away in August 2025. He had endured over a dozen surgeries, including four complex lung surgeries and two life-changing amputations of his left leg. He had relapsed several times and had endured years of chemotherapy, immunotherapy, experimental therapy, and hundreds of clinic visits and arm pokes along the way. No child should have to go through this, and we truly hoped that a cure could be found soon for this very dreadful and rare disease? until you experience it.

Buddy loved playing video games with his friends and playing golf. Most of all, he loved playing with his chocolate lab, Coconut, who had been an amazing source of healing.

That special bond inspired the design on the front of these shirts and hoodies, featuring Buddy & Coconut together?a reminder of the love, companionship, and unconditional joy that Coconut brought to Buddy?s life. We chose blue as a way to honor Buddy and help carry his memory forward. Every time you wear this shirt or hoodie, we hope it serves as a reminder of Buddy, the love that surrounds his family, and the children and families who continue to face osteosarcoma today.
