This project was started in my father's remembrance. I lost my father to suicide in 2020. His loss devastated our family. I felt like giving up myself. I reached out to 988 for support when the grief became to much. They were able to connect me to resources I didn't even know were available for families in crisis and were able to give the information on how to file for temporary housing through insurance. I called them probably at least 10 times in the first month alone. Timothy A. Sanders was Amazing father and husband, dedicated nurse anesthetist, skilled carpenter, avid cyclist, a comedian, and a perfectionist of an artist himself. His memory lives on with the many friends and family who hold his story close.
