Every purchase directly supports the members of the International Association of Fire Fighters, Black Mountain Local 5246, Therapy Dog Program.
In the aftermath of Hurricane Helene, IAFF local chapters from around the country responded to our area with trained stress management personnel and certified therapy dogs. We then saw the support and mental health assistance this provided. Once the funds are raised, we will partner with Dog Training Elite out of Asheville, NC, to begin basic obedience and then therapy dog certification for our 3-year-old black Labrador named Nala. She will then support our members and other fire departments during crises and through community events.
