My father struggled with a rare kidney disease, and there?s a 50/50 chance my son (named after his Pawpaw) will have the same genetic disorder. We are waiting until he?s a little older before having him tested. The Dent Disease Foundation was formed in 2013 to support awareness and research for the rare X-linked chromosomal kidney disease.
