We are Brave Like McKenna.
We exist because of McKenna Royer who bravely battled DMG and went to heaven in 2024.
Today, the Brave Like McKenna Foundation exists to support families who have a child with cancer by providing financial assistance for essentials such as mortgage, utilities, etc.
We also send Brave Bags to children in treatment as a way to offer comfort and encouragement during the long and tedious hospital stays.
Keith and Janell Royer, McKenna's parents, knew right away that advocacy was going to be an important part of their mission after McKenna passed, and they actively advocate for better treatment and outcomes for all kids with cancer.
